danu (still no legs)

Another sketch for my 'gruesome origins of mothers day' booklet. Danu, the mother goddess. I'm basing this on some photo reference I searched around for. Wanted to depict her as a pregnant woman but also as a sort of nature spirit hence all the flowers and ivy in her hair.
Update: This pic never made it in to the finished booklet. In the end there was no room and I didnt much like it either.
