The current project I'm working on, which has stalled a bit, is another small booklet called 'Smother's Day - the gruesome origins of Mothering Sunday'. It will be a kind of 'Is it true or isn't it?' historical thing and have about 8 pages with 4 main illustrations. I've written a finished draft and sketched the first two pictures. I'm hoping that this post will spur me on to finish it off. The picture above (not finished) shows a celtic warrior suffocating an old woman with a sacred cushion. I hope to finish the whole thing probably in January. I've got a few ideas of things to do after that. I'd like to do a comic strip or some more painting maybe?
